Error code 6 on 2004 SPK-500

My 2004 spk-500 shows error 6 ( not 7 ) after 3 months of sitting. Does anyone know what this means ?

Error 6 is usually a bad thermocouple connection at the controller or a bad thermocouple.
Cleaning the thermocouple connection may fix it.
